Agreeing to these terms
These terms cover your use of the C&M Sugar Land Spray Foam Insulation website and any insulation work you hire us to do. By using this site, asking for a quote or scheduling work with us, you agree to them.
If you don't agree with these terms, please don't use the site or book work through it.
What we do
C&M Sugar Land Spray Foam Insulation is an insulation contractor in Sugar Land, TX, working on homes and businesses in Sugar Land and the cities around it. Our work includes spray foam, blown-in and attic insulation, air sealing, crawl space and vapor barrier work, and removing old insulation. You can read more about us on our about page.
What you read on this site is general. The exact scope of your job is what's written in your estimate or agreement, because every attic, wall and crawl space is different.
Estimates and pricing
Our quotes are free, done on site and obligation-free. An estimate covers only the work and materials listed on it, and it's based on what we can see and measure during the visit.
Your price can change if we open up an attic, wall or crawl space and find something we couldn't see before, like wet or soiled insulation, damaged framing or hidden gaps. If that happens, we'll stop, show you what we found and get your OK before doing any extra work at extra cost.
Scheduling, access and cancellation
We'll set a start date with you and work to keep it, but weather, material supply and conditions found on the job can move it. If the date has to change, we'll tell you as soon as we know.
You agree to give our crew safe access to the areas we're working in and to keep kids and pets away from them while we work. On spray foam jobs, we'll tell you when it's safe to come back inside, and you agree to follow that.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, call or message us as early as you can. If we've already bought materials for your job or our crew is already on site, you may owe for those costs.
Payment
Payment amounts, any deposit and due dates are set out in your estimate or agreement, and unless it says otherwise, the balance is due when the work is finished.
If a payment is late, we may pause further work until the account is current. You're responsible for reasonable costs of collecting an unpaid balance, to the extent the law allows.
Our work and warranties
We're licensed and fully insured, and our work is backed by our satisfaction guarantee. If something about the job isn't right, call us at (832) 303-7078 and we'll come back, look at it and work with you to make it right.
Insulation products carry their maker's warranty, and we'll pass along any warranty information we receive. We aren't responsible for problems caused by things outside our work, such as roof or plumbing leaks, pests, HVAC or ventilation we didn't install, or changes someone else makes to the area later.
We don't promise a set drop in your power bill or a set temperature in any room, because those depend on your HVAC system, how you use it and the weather. Apart from what's written in your agreement and the guarantee above, our work and this website come without other warranties, to the extent the law allows.
Limits on our liability
To the extent Texas law allows, C&M Sugar Land Spray Foam Insulation isn't liable for indirect or follow-on losses connected to our work or this website, such as lost use of a room, lost income or higher energy costs. Our total liability for any claim about a job is limited to what you paid us for that job.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit.
Using this website
The information on this site is meant to help you understand insulation work, and it isn't a substitute for an on-site look at your house. The text and images here belong to us, so please don't copy them for commercial use without our permission.
Any links to other websites are there for your convenience, and we aren't responsible for what those sites say or do.
If we disagree
If you have a problem with our work or a bill, please come to us first, because most issues get settled with a phone call or a return visit. If we can't settle it together, we both agree to try mediation in good faith before going to court.
Governing law
These terms and any work we do are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any legal action will be brought in a Texas court with jurisdiction over the county where the work was done.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted on this page applies from the day it's posted. Work already under a signed agreement stays under the terms of that agreement.
Questions about these terms
If anything here isn't clear, reach us through our contact page or call (832) 303-7078. We reply within 1 business day.
